what i believe
I hold strong convictions that reflect my pro-life stance, my commitment to family values, and my unwavering support for traditional ideals. In my view, it is imperative that the voices of parents are not only acknowledged but also respected within the educational sphere. Schools, particularly in matters as sensitive as sex education, should exercise a heightened sense of caution and prudence. I am a proponent of an opt-in approach for such education, allowing families to make informed decisions that align with their values.
Central to my educational philosophy is the belief that K-12 curriculum should be purposefully designed to prepare students for the realities of the world they will eventually step into. I hold steadfast to more traditional educational approaches that emphasize practical skills and foundational knowledge.
Embracing the principle of self-reliance, which I perceive as rooted in reliance on a higher power, I firmly support local control in educational matters. My Christian faith guides me in the pursuit of honoring God through virtuous living and selfless service to others.
